Loyalist College Annual Fund Appeal
Once again this year, donations made to support students through the Ontario Trust for Student Support will be matched by the provincial government in the endowment for bursaries for financial assistance. The Loyalist College Foundation endowment stood at $5 million at the end of March 2009, and this matching program gives us a marvellous opportunity to increase the funds held in trust. Investment income from the endowment provides important support for our students each year; in fact, up to $150,000 will be presented in this academic year.
Increasing the number of student bursaries is an important objective of this year’s Appeal, as we know how important financial assistance is to our students’ success.
If you prefer to identify another area in the College, we will be happy to direct your donation to support the program of your choice. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for all gifts.
