Practical Nursing and the Human Simulation Lab
Our ‘state of the art’ Human Simulation Lab provides the opportunity for future health care professionals to learn, practice and master skills prior to caring for patients/clients in real clinical settings.
Increased technology, as well as increase in the severity of patient illness and the complexity of health care places the demand for new graduates to perform at a greater than novice level.
In our Human Simulation Lab, you will experience realistic patient situations and learn how to respond to them in a safe and supportive environment. Our goal is to help you to become confident and competent with putting together the knowledge and skills you need for clinical practice.
The Nursing Simulation Lab is also equipped with high fidelity AV equipment, computers with virtual hospital programs, traditional mannequins and task trainers, etc.
