The Day of Mourning started in Canada over 20 years ago and has spread to about 80 countries around the world. It is a both a day to remember those workers killed or injured in the workplace and a day for us to commit to preventing injuries at work. The flag on Parliament Hill will fly at half-mast on April 28.
