Thank you for your interest in the Loyalist College Student for a Day experience. As you may be aware, the Union representing faculty at Ontario colleges has commenced a legal strike, which began on October 16. Loyalist remains open, but no regular daytime classes will be held. During this time, the Student for a Day program is suspended and will return when daytime classes resume.
Instead, please consider taking a guided campus tour, which can be booked through our Tour Page
Student for a Day
What are the programs like at Loyalist? Try them out for yourself! There’s no better way to get a feel for how you’ll learn than as a Student for a Day.
- Meet our students and faculty
- Check out our facilities — including the Bay of Quinte Skills Centre and LEED® Silver-certified Link Lounge
- Roll up your sleeves and participate in hands-on activities in many programs
- Attend a class — or two!
Student for a Day runs from mid-September to the end of November and from mid-January until the end of March. There may also be the opportunity to be a Student for a Day in programs that have a summer semester – please contact us for availability.
Class timetables vary by program. When we receive your request we will contact you and the instructors to set up a day and time that best fits your schedule and the program timetable. Please note this could take a number of days.
We look forward to having you on campus to experience being a Loyalist student.
