In honour of Loyalist College’s 50th Anniversary, incoming (first-year entry-level) full-time students who apply and pay their tuition fee deposit by August 25 will be entered into a draw to receive one of fifty $1,000 awards. Winners will have $1,000 directly credited towards their 2017-2018 tuition and fees.
The College’s 50th Anniversary is a time to celebrate something amazing! That’s why Loyalist has launched its fifty $1,000 awards initiative. Since 1967, more than 40,000 students have graduated from the College’s Belleville and Bancroft campuses, and work in a wide range of industries in our region and around the world.
The College does everything it can to make sure cost isn’t a barrier for students. Each year Loyalist provides over one million dollars in student funding through awards, bursaries, scholarships and employment opportunities through the On-Campus Employment Initiative.
The knowledgeable staff in the College’s Financial Aid office assist students in a number of different ways, such as finding bursaries and scholarships specific to their field of study. They also relay helpful information regarding budgeting skills to make the money last throughout the school year.
Loyalist offers more than 65 full-time programs; apprenticeships; and hundreds of online, distance and in-class courses, as well as opportunities for continuing education through more than 70 university transfer agreements. The College’s wide selection of advanced diplomas, diplomas and certificates aligns with market-driven disciplines including applied sciences, biosciences, building sciences, business and management studies, health sciences, human studies, justice studies, media, arts and design, and skills and technology.
