Summer Information Sessions 2022

Ease your transition to postsecondary studies and prepare for a successful first semester by joining us for one or more of our FREE summer information sessions:*

AccessAbility Information Session (August 29 – 30) – In-Person
Join us for two days of informative workshops and panels for students with disabilities. Connect with other students and staff and learn about assistive technology, study skills, notetaking, and much more. Family and friends welcome.  

Indigenous Services Orientation (August 24) – In-Person; drop by anytime between 10 am – 2 pm
Learn about upcoming special events, on-campus employment opportunities, Indigenous ancestry, band funding, and scholarships and bursaries for Indigenous students.  

Smart Start Loyalist College (July/August) – Online
Through a series of online modules, explore strategies for success at college, and learn how to navigate Canvas, the online learning management platform used for courses at Loyalist.   

Student Services Information Sessions – Offered Virtually Through Zoom
Learn how to make the transition to college more manageable, and connect with other students, College staff and services during this Zoom Q&A. Family and friends welcome.

  • May 25: 9 – 10 am or 3 – 4 pm
  • June 15: 10 – 11 am or 2 – 3 pm
  • July 20: 9 – 10 am or 1 – 2 pm
  • August 31: 10 – 11 am or 3 – 4 pm

*Due to funding guidelines, only confirmed students for Fall 2022 are able to attend these sessions.
