LOYALIST COLLEGE ART AND DESIGN FOUNDATION STUDENTS TO HOST ‘A CHANGE IN PERSPECTIVE’ EXHIBITION

Belleville, Ontario, March 27, 2017 – Loyalist College Art and Design Foundation students will present ‘A Change in Perspective,’ a student-curated exhibition inspired by various views on art explored over the academic year. Designed to encourage a new way of thinking for artists and gallery visitors, the exhibition will display a multitude of art forms and interpretations. The work featured in ‘A Change in Perspective’ is comprised of pieces created by Art and Design Foundation students and highlights their artistic achievements.

About the Art and Design Foundation Program
This program allows aspiring artists to sample a range of techniques in fine art and design, while building a top-quality portfolio — the perfect way to develop creative skills while getting a post-secondary education. Students grow and connect professionally through off-campus artist studio sessions and visits; learn hands-on in small classes with a focus on both traditional and digital media; earn valuable experience through professional workshops in a variety of art and design-related areas; develop a broad-based portfolio that reflects a flexible creative palette; and design/curate an exhibition.
