At the 2016 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards on June 21 in Belleville, several Loyalist Foundation directors were recognized by the Province of Ontario. Loyalist College President and CEO Maureen Piercy accepted a Volunteer Service Award on behalf of the late June Surgey who was honoured for her 15 years of service with The Loyalist College Foundation. Also recognized for their significant commitment and contributions to the Foundation were: Wilfrid Wilkinson, Ian Reilly, Audrey Williams, Roli Tipper, and Dr. Evelyn Williamson.
