Belleville, Ontario, May 10, 2017 – To celebrate 50 amazing years, Loyalist College has organized a series of fun events for alumni, students, staff and friends of the College throughout the year, with several planned around the 50th Anniversary Convocation ceremonies on June 8 and 9.
Bay of Quinte Evening Boat Cruise – June 9 at 7 pm
Board the Island Star for a three-hour evening cruise around the Bay of Quinte while enjoying music and cocktails. Registration is limited to the first 130 people. Cost for this event is $70 (tax included).
Golf Day, Oak Hills – June 10
Enjoy an 18-hole round of golf at Oak Hills Golf Course at a discounted rate of $29 per golfer (includes a cart).
Family Fun Day on Campus – June 10, 10 am – 3 pm
Enjoy a day of fun family activities at the Loyalist track field. This is a free event featuring a dunk tank, petting zoo, bouncy castles, games and more!
Prince Edward County Wine Tour – June 10, 12:15 – 5:30 pm
Board a coach bus at Loyalist for a tour around Prince Edward County with stops at three County wineries. Cost is $70 per person and includes tastings.
Alumni Gardens and Memorial Grove Dedication Ceremony – June 11 – 11 am
Join us as we commemorate Loyalist graduates, students and faculty. Dedication stones may be purchased prior to the ceremony.
Cruising Canoes Adventure Tour – June 11, 1 – 5 pm
Experience the great outdoors and natural beauty while enjoying a four-hour canoe or kayak cruise down the Moira River. Cost is $45 per person.
Breakout Belleville – Escape Room Experience – June 8 – 11
Plan your great escape in 60 minutes from one of Breakout Belleville’s themed escape rooms. As a team, find the hidden clues, work together to solve the puzzles, and uncover the mystery before the buzzer sounds. Enjoy a discounted rate of $15 per person, per game, during Loyalist’s 50th Anniversary weekend.
