Loyalist Student Government Celebrates Dining Hall Grand Opening

December 05, 2013

Below is the original article published at the time of this event. While some references are no longer current, the article provides details about important milestones in Loyalist’s history.

On November 7, 2013, the Loyalist Student Government celebrated the grand opening of the newly renovated Dining Hall at the Belleville campus. The space now features brand new décor, flooring and furnishings, including couches, armchairs, dining tables, dining chairs and a fireplace. Lounge-style seating has been provided on a raised platform, and café and bistro seating enhance the dining area by providing students with more options. To bring the new space together, a mural mirroring the shapes and colours of the Loyalist logo was added to the wall separating the Dining Hall and the Gymnasium.
