Prescreened candidates to ensure you save time in your interviewing process;
 
A pool of up-to-date, motivated workers of all ages scheduled to meet with you at your convenience;
 
Workshops to keep your staff current with today’s requirements, i.e. Smart Serve, Fall Arrest, Young Worker Awareness and Service Excellence; and
 
Financial incentives for initial on-the-job training.

 Financial Incentives

A number of financial incentives are offered by the Ontario Government to help you train new staff.
 
Training Incentives for new Employees:
When you hire one of our candidates, we may provide financial assistance for their training.  Incentives are paid through a streamlined and convenient invoicing system.

Training Incentives for Students Returning to School in the Fall:
When you hire a Summer Jobs Services eligible student, we may provide financial assistance for the months of May-September.

Apprenticeship Employer Signing Bonus:
We may be able to provide monetary incentives to employers signing and maintaining new apprentices in trade sectors where there is a high demand for skilled workers.  

Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit:
This is a refundable tax credit available to employers who hire and train apprentices in certain skilled trades. The maximum credit available to employers or sponsors is $10,000 per qualifying apprentice per taxation year. Employers and sponsors are eligible to receive the credit for four years.  For further information: (www.tcu.gov.on.ca/eng/employers/taxcredit.html)

Eligibility Requirements

• Your business is registered in Ontario; 
• Hiring will complement existing staff and not result in lay-offs;
• Your business will provide WSIB coverage (or equivalent); and 
• Third party liability insurance coverage
