Assistive Technology Summer Camp for Kids with Learning Disabilities
Loyalist College - Disability Services Office
July 4 - 8, 2011 - 9 am to 12 pm
This five day camp will provide training on the following assistive technology programs:
Dragon Naturally Speaking (Voice to Text), Premier to GO (USB Portable tool with ten specialized programs) and Inspiration (Visual Mind Mapping)
The cost is $150.00
Students (grade 5 to 8) will be provided with a microphone to use during the camp and to take with them to use at school. Refreshments will be served mid-afternoon each day.
Attention Parents: Students exhibiting disruptive behaviour and interfering with the learning of others will be asked to leave the program immediately and no refund will be issued.
