The winter edition of Lasting Connections has been issued. If you did not receive your copy, please make sure your contact information is up-to-date. If you would like to read the current edition, we post it on the Alumni Website.

The Loyalist College Grad Mentorship Forum has been launched in Linke dIn. We are inviting alumni and soon-to-be graduates to join and discuss career and education ideas. It is a secure forum for individuals who are looking for direction.

Our Annual Fund appeal is ongoing and we hope that you will take the time to speak with one of our student "Annual Fund Ambassadors" when they call. Thank you to all of our alumni for their continued support.

We would like to highlight our alumni achievements, either in career or life. If you would like to send us something about yourself or another Loyalist College graduate, please email it to alumni@loyalistc.on.ca.

On January 17th and 24th Loyalist College Recruitment held their "Return to Learn Program." In two days they had over 30 individual appointments booked and each person left with a customized enrolment plan. Many of the participants completed a Loyalist application through ontariocolleges.ca. Due to its success, Recruitment plans to continue these sessions on a regular basis. Dates and times will be posted at loyalistcollege.com as they become available.

Loyalist Grad Photographs Treasures for

Spectacular New Book

For Loyalist College Photojournalism graduate ('98) Matthew Manor, the phrase "he shoots, he scores" has taken on a whole new meaning. Matthew recently photographed more than 800 artifacts in the Hockey Hall of Fame's collection. The images will appear in his new book, Hockey Hall of Fame Treasures.

Along with photos of the puck Sidney Crosby used to score the 2010 Olympic gold-medal goal, and the stick, gloves and helmet worn by Wayne Gretzky when he scored the goal that broke Gordie Howe's record, the book includes essays by sportscaster James Duthie and former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson.
