I don’t have a photo, but I guess I have a picture still etched in my mind. For some reason, I remember what clothes I wore on my first day of Loyalist College, September 1998. It was a white cotton sweater and green corduroy pants. It must have been a very special memory for me to know that after 28 years.

A Memorable Story
As a young girl, I dreamed of becoming a nurse. I enrolled at Loyalist College as a mature student and had become the first in my family to attend college. I enjoyed the experience and the teaching staff were one of the best. I went on to graduate in 1990 and retired in 2013 after a very fulfilling nursing career. Education is very important, and I’m glad I continued with my dream to become a nurse.
