What is Institutional Research?
Institutional Research helps to inform decision-making and planning at the College in areas such as; admissions, curriculum, enrolment management, student satisfaction, facilities, employment, and alumni relations.
Along with other departments at Loyalist College, The Research Services Office supports the College by providing data collection and/or analysis in the following areas:
- New program development
- Various student surveys linked to recruitment and retention
- Provincial and national trends affecting current programs
The Research Services Office leads the administration of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Student Satisfaction Survey that is mandated by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. This survey measures the level of satisfaction with the quality of learning experience, support services, and educational resources of current students, graduates, and employees.
