The Indigenous Resource Centre values the contributions of our upper-year students who assist their peers with adjustment to College life.
Student Ambassadors
Our Indigenous Student Ambassadors provide peer-to-peer support:
- to assist new students to Loyalist in finding their classes
- to help new students get oriented on campus
- to assist fellow students in accessing their myLoyalist portal
Our Indigenous Student Ambassadors also provide support for Indigenous students using the supports of the Indigenous Resource Centre as well as participating in on- and off-camps cultural activities and events.
Student Tutors
Our Indigenous Student Tutors are available to assist our First Nations, Métis and Inuit students with their homework and course material.
Writing and mathematics support is also available.
