What We Offer

Access a number of computer areas that are open extended hours and available to students from all programs. Services include:

  • PC and Mac computers
  • Colour printing and scanning (print credits included in tuition)
  • Program-specific software
  • In-person technical support staff who are able to functionally help with software, your network account, Blackboard, Banner, submitting assignments, posting discussions, etc.

MyLoyalist online portal access with mobile/tablet support

Your online access to your Learning Management System (Blackboard), email, Student Government and Shark Tab Pub information, Scholarship/Bursaries applications, Student Success services and more.


Blackboard Learning Management System

Have control and freedom to access your course content at any time that is convenient for you!  Use Blackboard to keep up to date with your course notes, assignments, tests, discussions, etc.

College-wide wireless access

Open access high-speed wireless internet service is available throughout the entire campus and residence. Connect with your laptop, smartphone and tablets.


Personal college email

Use your personal Loyalist Outlook email account to stay in contact with your instructors, classmates and support staff.


Network storage space

Safely and securely store your school documents using your ‘M:Drive’ access provided to you as a student. Save your work on one campus computer, and access it on another later on.


Virtual Learning Environments

Many courses incorporate the use of the Virtual Learning Environment. This allows you the opportunity to practice what you are learning while getting feedback in a safe simulation environment.


Multimedia equipment sign-out

Audio visual sign-out equipment is available to all students.

Cameras, tripods, laptops, projectors, televisions, speakers, adaptors, etc.
