What are KPIs?
Surveys of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are conducted annually for each College of Applied Arts & Technology in Ontario by an independent research firm on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and Colleges Ontario.
Loyalist College graduate employment rate highest in Eastern Ontario
Loyalist College exceeded the provincial average in graduate employment, graduate satisfaction and employer satisfaction rates, according to annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results, released by Colleges Ontario on May 12, 2021.
With 88.8 percent of the College’s 2018-19 graduates employed within six months of graduation, Loyalist College has the highest graduate employment rate in Eastern Ontario. Satisfaction rates were also among the top with 100 percent employer satisfaction, 8.9 percent above the provincial average, and 83.8 percent graduate satisfaction, 4.9 percent above average.
How are OSAP default rates tracked?
Ontario Student Loan (OSL) default rates are provided to the colleges each year by the ministry’s Student Financial Assistance branch. A common methodology has been used for the calculations for all program-related information provided by all colleges and the data are updated annually.
