14th Annual Career Fair a Resounding Success

February 24, 2011

14th Annual Career Fair a Resounding Success Loyalist College students were able to explore many diverse career options and opportunities on Thursday, February 10th at the College’s 14th Annual Career Fair. The Fair attracted approximately 80 representatives of employers, and other post-secondary institutions, and about 1,000 attendees.

The overall response and reaction from all groups was incredible. Many of the recruiters were Loyalist grads, some of whom ended up with jobs after attending last year’s Fair. One of those grads was Brandon Reid of Beclawat who commented that, “I got this job last year at the Career Fair. The students are really prepared to get out into the workforce and start working.” Matt Rowan from the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board noted that it was exceptional and that he had many positive discussions with employers who were very impressed. And, Kingston Police Services personnel told us it was the best Career Fair in Ontario!
