 Busy Summer Season on Campus

The wide range of summer activities offered throughout the summer months has drawn hundreds of individuals to Loyalist resulting in an interesting and exciting campus atmosphere. There were weeks of Serious Summer Fun at the Loyalist Camps for Kids and Teens with opportunities to explore creative pursuits, develop athletic skills, and strengthen scientific and technical knowledge. The Summer Arts classes provided a diverse selection of opportunities for beginners, hobbyists and seasoned artists to discover, develop and refine their creativity with respected, professional instructors. Once again the College was honoured to provide food and lodging for approximately 300 officers, civilian instructors, staff cadets and cadets of the Central Region Gliding School. A delegation of 21 Chinese faculty members from Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology, People’s Republic of China is currently visiting Loyalist. The purpose of the visit is to gain exposure to Canadian teaching, course design and delivery methodologies. Participants in these activities have made the summer of 2009 a great season at Loyalist.
