From August 5th to 17th Loyalist is hosting a delegation of 21 teachers from Xuzhou College of Industrial Technology, People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit is for the Chinese faculty to be exposed to Canadian teaching, course design and delivery methodologies. On Thursday morning they were formally introduced to our community with a tour of Belleville City Hall with His Worship Mayor Neil R. Ellis. In addition to the academic learning components of their visit the College is pleased to provide them the opportunity of attending The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (Kenhteke Kanienkeha) 22nd annual Traditional Pow Wow, a visit to Algonquin Park, a tour of a Belleville manufacturing plant and an afternoon exploring Prince Edward County.
