College Residence Filled for Fall Semester

September 07, 2010

Students arrived at the College eager to settle into their new surroundings on campus. Students and staff greeted them and helped them settle into the residence apartments.

In addition to the original residence facilities, Loyalist welcomed upper-year students into the new residence townhouse complex built this summer. The residence is a project of Campus Development Corporation in conjunction with the College. Phase I of the complex is complete which enabled 32 students to begin the semester in the townhouse development. Construction will resume on the remaining 18 units in the near future and is scheduled for completion and occupancy in May 2011. These additional units will add an additional 72 bedrooms for student accommodation. The new accommodations, combined with the College’s original residence facilities, will result in a total of 580 on-campus rooms.
