The College welcomed almost 100 employers to the campus for Loyalist’s 11th Annual Job Fair. Representatives from a wide-range of business, industry and service sectors participated. Many were looking for employees for a variety of areas within their organizations, creating opportunities for students from many programs within the College.
“The Job Fair is a great idea,” said first-year Justice Studies student Aaron Crossen. “It is an opportunity to find out who is hiring and what they are looking for in their employees. I think the best part is that this is an opportunity to make an impression. You are meeting potential employers in person, and have the chance of connecting with them.”
Michael O’Keeffe, Administrator for AON Inc., was thrilled with how well attended the fair was. “From the moment that we pulled up at the front door and were greeted by students who helped us unload our display, everyone has been delightful. Everyone I have spoken with is both eager and well informed.”
