Loyalist Automotive Programs Host 5th Annual Show & Shine

Loyalist College is pleased to invite members of the public to participate in its Show & Shine event, organized by students and faculty from the Motive Power Fundamentals, Motive Power Technician, and Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship programs. The Show & Shine will take place outside of the Auto Shop at the new Sustainable Skills, Technology and Life Sciences Centre on campus. All vehicles are welcome, including modern cars, muscle cars, trucks, hot rods, race cars and motorcycles. 

What:  5th Annual Auto Show & Shine Loyalist College Automotive Department

Everyone is welcome – admission is free 

When:    Saturday, September 14th 

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Arrive and display 

1 – 2 p.m.  Trophies awarded

Where:  Outside of the Auto Shop at the Loyalist College Sustainable Skills, Technology and Life Sciences Centre

Parking and Registration in Lots P6, P6A and P3 

Additional  Mini Spa pampering services offered by Loyalist Esthetics and Spa Management students. 

Participants in the show will have a photo taken, with their vehicle, in front of the newly constructed Link Lounge. The top five cars, trucks and motorcycles will be chosen by spectators and will receive a trophy. 

Participants will be given the opportunity to purchase door prize tickets for a chance to win great prizes, including two tool carts, tool sets, and a variety of other prizes. Proceeds from the door prize draw will help Loyalist Automotive students attend the SEMA Auto Show, which takes place November 5th to November 8th at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
