Loyalist Champions Enter Qualifying Round Of The MikesBikes World Championships

Please join students and faculty from the Loyalist Accounting program in cheering on the 2013 Iron Accountant Loyalist champions from Quinte Christian High School on Monday, December 2, at 9 a.m. as they enter the first qualifying round of the MikesBikes World Championships. 

The student team from Quinte Christian earned their place in the first qualifying round of the championships during the First Annual Iron Accountant Loyalist competition in March 2013. During the competition, teams from area high schools competed using the MikesBikes accounting simulation program, provided by Smartsims Business Simulations.

The Second Annual Iron Accountant Loyalist competition will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Organized by Loyalist Accounting students, the annual competition between teams from area high schools enables aspiring business students to showcase their knowledge and skills. Once again, the teams will be competing using the MikesBikes accounting simulation program, which tests students’ analytical skills by having them run a mock corporation. 

Loyalist College prepares students for a rewarding career by combining rigorous academic standards with hands-on training from industry experts.
