LOYALIST COLLEGE ADDS SEVERAL DEGREE PROGRAMS THROUGH THE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TRALEE

Belleville, Ontario, May 31, 2018 – Graduates of six Loyalist College two- and three-year diploma programs now have the opportunity to earn a degree at the Institute of Technology Tralee, Ireland, in as little as one academic year.

Qualified graduates from the following Loyalist programs are eligible for advanced standing entry into the corresponding Institute of Technology Tralee bachelor programs, with full credit recognition. This means that at IT Tralee, Loyalist diploma graduates can earn a degree in one year and an honours degree in just one more year, while Loyalist advanced diploma graduates can earn an honours degree in one year.

Applications
While the application deadline is normally June 1 for entry to an IT Tralee program the following September, this year’s deadline has been extended to June 30 to accommodate Loyalist students interested in pursuing the new pathway. The Institute of Technology Tralee (IT Tralee) was established in 1977 as the Regional Technical College, Tralee and in 1992 became the Institute of Technology, Tralee.
