The Loyalist College Alumni Association will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, November 27th. Loyalist graduates are invited to attend and encouraged to become involved with the Association. Included in the evening’s events will be the presentation of the Loyalist College Alumni Distinction Awards, which honour the contributions graduates make through volunteer work and their careers.
“As an Association, we are very proud to be presenting distinction awards to two exceptional individuals at the AGM,” said Alumni President Brian Miller. “One of our primary goals during the past year has been to raise the awareness of the Association. I think that we have been successful with this in many ways and will continue in our efforts. We want students to know that when they graduate they are still a part of the Loyalist family. Education is a life-long process and Loyalist is the perfect place to learn.”
The AGM and Alumni Distinction Awards Ceremony will be held on November 27th in Club 213 at Loyalist College. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00. The Distinction Awards will be presented at 7:00 p.m., followed by the meeting which will include the election of Association Executive positions.
