Belleville, Ontario, August 24, 2017 – As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration Loyalist College has announced 50 awards for students returning to full-time studies this fall. The awards are valued at $500 each and are funded by a generous donation from the John M. & Bernice Parrott Foundation.

“Loyalist College truly appreciates the generous support of the John M. & Bernice Parrott Foundation,” said President Ann Marie Vaughan. “This donation will support the success of 50 students and help them achieve their goals, and is a wonderful way to recognize the 50th Anniversary of the College.”

All programs are eligible for students with a minimum of 70 percent average in the previous year of studies. Demonstrated involvement in community/school activities is also required.

In addition to the 50 awards for returning students, incoming (first-year entry-level) full-time students who apply and pay their tuition fee deposit by August 25 will be entered into a draw to receive one of fifty $1,000 entrance awards.
