LOYALIST COLLEGE ANNOUNCES RECIPIENTS OF THE FIFTY 50TH ANNIVERSARY $1,000 ENTRANCE AWARDS

Belleville, Ontario, October 4, 2017 – Fifty first-year students at Loyalist College have received a $1,000 Entrance Award, in honour of the 50th Anniversary of Loyalist and the Ontario College system. The awards were presented at a reception held as part of the Anniversary celebration on campus on September 27th.

“We are very pleased that these awards were made available by donors and the College Foundation, and appreciate this support of our students,” said Ann Marie Vaughan, Loyalist College President & CEO. “As we reflect on 50 amazing years, we’re reminded of the achievements of more than 40,000 Loyalist graduates who have gone on to pursue a wide range of careers in our region, and around the world. We know that these entrance awards will help the recipients reach their academic goals as they write their own success stories.”
