Loyalist College Annual Career Fair – Thursday, February 11

January 20, 2010

Loyalist College will host its annual Career Fair on Thursday, February 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria and gymnasium in the Kente Building. Many employers participate in the annual event, returning each year in search of Loyalist graduates to hire. The opportunity to meet so many students face-to-face and discuss the full-time, part-time and summer jobs available within their organizations benefits employers and students alike. The goal of the fair is to represent all of the College programs and allow students to talk with the representatives from the organizations and companies who are recruiting employees.

Some of the employers participating in this year’s Career Fair include:

“The objective of the Career Fair is to focus on employers and employment opportunities specific to the skills our students have acquired,” said Laura Naumann, Manager of Employment and Career Services. “We are excited to welcome employers to the campus to meet our students in person. The Career Fair is one of the ways that we build partnerships with employers both locally and from outside our area. These partnerships translate into jobs for our graduates and satisfied employers who continue to look to Loyalist when hiring.”
