Loyalist College welcomes prospective students and members of the community to the annual Spring Open House Saturday, April 17th from 10:00 until 2:00. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the campus, interact with students and staff, and attend a parent information session. Guests are encouraged to enter the Spring Open House Draw for the chance to win $2,000 toward their first year 2010/2011 Loyalist tuition.
“Applications are still being accepted for this September and if you are curious about the programs and facilities offered at Loyalist, we encourage you to stop by the Open House,” said Jeff Macnab, Registrar. “This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our more than 60 career-focused programs and meet our experienced professors. Making your career and education decisions is huge. Bring your questions to the campus this Saturday and we’ll do our very best to answer them, enabling you to make the informed choice that is best for you.”
Faculty and students will be available to answer any program-related questions. While enrolled at the College, students have access to a full range of student success and student life services including career services, counselling, financial assistance, disability services and athletics. Representatives will be available to introduce these services and provide guidance to prospective students. In addition, visitors are encouraged to participate in Passport Loyalist, a series of guided campus tours that include the residence village.
Out-of-town guests will have the opportunity to have a guided tour of the City of Belleville from a student’s perspective. The tours will depart from the main entrance of the Kente Building at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00.
