Professional Communicators Invited to Attend News Canada Breakfast & Idea Exchange in Belleville

The Post-Graduate Public Relations program at Loyalist College is pleased to present the 2011 News Canada Breakfast & Idea Exchange for professional communicators on March 9, 2011 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The breakfast will take place at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites in Belleville and will feature keynote speaker Martin Waxman, co-founder and managing partner of energiPR in Toronto. Mr. Waxman will be delivering a keynote address on The New PR: How Social Media are Changing the Communications Environment.

The cost of attending the breakfast is $15 per person or $10 for alumni of Loyalist College.

“We’re looking forward to this event as a unique opportunity to network with like-minded professionals who communicate for a living,” said Kerry Ramsay, professor and coordinator of the Public Relations program at Loyalist College.

The breakfast is expected to draw participants from Belleville, Trenton, Prince Edward County, Napanee, Kingston, Peterborough, Cobourg and beyond. A sharing table will also be available for participants to exchange business cards, projects and communication materials with each other.
