Principals from Premier Indian Secondary Schools Visit Loyalist

September 21, 2010

Loyalist College was proud to welcome a delegation of Principals from premier Indian secondary schools as well as Senior government officials from India and Canada. The group is touring across Canada with stops in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and concluding their tour in British Columbia. The delegation is largely interested in learning more about the Canadian education system. The Indian principals who participated in the tour are from various parts of India and represent schools which have established reputations for sending their graduating students abroad for post secondary study.

Loyalist College was one of only three colleges to be profiled nationally during their three week tour. The group was presented an overview of Loyalist’s 60 plus post secondary programs and toured the Nursing SIM lab, the Television and New Media Production studios, the College’s 213 Dining Room and kitchen facilities, and the on campus International Office. The visit provided Loyalist with the opportunity to profile the quality, variety and uniqueness of post secondary education at the College.
