SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT SALES AND MARKETING STUDENTS TO HOST PETERBOROUGH PETES NIGHT

Loyalist College’s Sports and Entertainment Sales and Marketing program will host a Peterborough Petes Night for the College community on Thursday, October 29. Students in the program will lead intermission activities and present Loyalist-themed prizes throughout the game. The Petes are playing the Kitchener Rangers.

Additional:               Sports and Entertainment Sales and Marketing is a post-graduate program which offers specialized business training for those who want to work in the sports and entertainment field. In only four months, students learn to make an impact on the bottom line. Then, they demonstrate those skills on the job during a four-month placement. Students have completed placements at The Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Rugby Canada and for sports teams such as the Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Grads are working as Coordinator of Corporate Partnerships, Rugby Canada; Sales Executive, Rogers OutRank; Sales Manager, Global Spectrum; Brand Activation & Events Coordinator, S&E Sponsorship Group; and Client Development Representative, Ottawa Senators.
