Exciting New Post-Grad Programs Start This Fall

A new one-year post-graduate program for entrepreneurial-minded individuals is beginning in September 2015. College and university graduates with a diploma or degree are eligible to apply for the Entrepreneurial Studies - Business Launch program. Off-site learning will take place in a living lab where students work side by side, building actual start-ups. A network of business advisors and mentors will help guide them throughout the process. When their start-ups are ready to launch, students will participate in industry showcase and pitch competitions, where they will present their business plans before an audience of prospective customers, employees and investors. For more information please call 613-969-1913 ext. 2415 or 2329 or email esbl@loyalistc.on.ca.

Applications from college and university graduates are also being accepted for the new International Trade and Logistics Management program, beginning in September 2015. This one-year post-graduate certificate specializes in logistics and supply chain management. The program will be delivered over three semesters, from September to mid-June, preparing students to oversee the global movement of goods with insights into international customs and business practices. Graduates will prepare for careers in supply chain management, concentrating on trade compliance and logistics planning. The program concludes with an eight-week field placement, providing students with workplace experience and the potential to graduate into a job. Loyalist's program has received accreditation by the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council through its National Accreditation Program (NAP).  For more information call 613-969-1913 ext. 2243 or email itlm@loyalistc.on.ca.
