Teachers!
I had the best teachers: Paul Zakos, Fred Ryan, Shirley Follen, Ron Conlon, Peter Beattie, Susan Murray. I recall they all took the time to talk to us and make sure we understood what was expected of us in our classes and field placements. I moved on to British Columbia after graduation, and in 1985 I began a 25-year career with the B.C. Government. Many times I thought of the things I had learned at Loyalist, and I am sure it helped me in my early days when I was learning to be a public servant! Thanks a million to the best teachers and a great school!

Teachers/Engineers
We had a great group of teachers, engineers and mentors during our three-year program. I still see Ted Belyea about once a year out on the golf course. Mike Knitsh and of course how could we forget Ernie Parsons. Ernie of course went on to future fame as a politician – yes, he could tell some stories. The Civil program prepared us very well for the field, as I’ve enjoyed for the past 30+ years in the engineering related field of the construction industry.

Graduates 1980
As the only girl in the class, I convinced the guys to go to a local photo studio and pose for a photograph.
