Human Simulation Lab

Increased use of technology in the practice environment and increases in both the acuity of patient conditions and the complexities of health care demand a high level of performance for new graduates.

Our state-of-the-art Human Simulation Lab is recognized provincially, nationally and internationally for its technical advances, equipment and expertise in human simulation education. We provide the opportunity for future healthcare professionals and support workers to learn, practice and master skills prior to caring for patients and clients in real clinical and community settings.

  • Browse through the photo album to preview what our lab is equipped with.

Here you will experience realistic patient situations and learn how to respond to them in a safe and supportive environment. Our goal is to help you to become confident and competent with putting together the knowledge and skills you need for practice.
