The Loyalist College Alumni Association is entering the year with a newly elected executive. Members of the executive include Mary Brodie – Past President, Brian Miller – President, Rosemary Rooke – Vice-President, and Linda Serres, Peter Rooke and Christopher Brown as Officers.
Plans for the upcoming year are already underway with the first event scheduled for January 28th. The Association will host a spaghetti dinner as an opportunity for current students to become more familiar with the Association and the programs available to them through Alumni Services at the College.
“It’s always exciting to watch a new executive come together, and the ideas and planning that result from this melding,” said Ivanka Franjkovic, Alumni Development Officer. “Some graduates hesitate to step forward and be part of the executive, unsure whether they are able to make that commitment. There are many ways that graduates can be involved with the Association and we would be happy to help them discover the role that works best. We invite alumni to join us for the spaghetti dinner at the end of the month. It will be a great opportunity to meet everyone.”
