The Post-Graduate Public Relations students at Loyalist College are offering complimentary communication workshops for representatives of local non-profit organizations. From March 17th to 22nd a series of one-hour workshops will be held at the College. The goal is to inform non-profit groups in the greater Quinte area about the latest communication trends and tools.
This is the fifth year students from the Public Relations program have provided the workshops. Hundreds of participants have taken advantage of this opportunity, many returning year-after-year. Thelma Perry, Early Learning Facilitator for Family Space, is a past participant who plans to attend again this year. “The students are professional and knowledgeable. I have been able to apply the things that I learn to my job. My experience has been very positive and I definitely recommend the workshops.”

“We’re creating engaging, fun and informative workshops for the participants which make it possible for non-profit organizations to learn advanced, modern techniques that they might otherwise not have the opportunity to explore,” said Troy Stewart, one of the Public Relations students planning the events.
