President and CEO Maureen Piercy, students from the Public Relations post-graduate program, and members of Loyalist Student Government presented a cheque for $18,659 to Judi Gilbert, Executive Director of the United Way of Quinte today. The campus campaign began in October with a pancake breakfast supported by the Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise, and concluded with a very successful product sale organized by Loyalist Public Relations post-graduate students. Additional donations from employees and Loyalist Student Government brought the total College campaign to $18,659.
